We endeavour to make Chelmsford Community Church a welcoming place for all ages.  With that in mind, we invite young people (age 11+) to have their own time together while the grown-ups have to listen to the sermon!

Sunday Youth Meetings

Our Youth meetings happen at the same time as Sunday Club.  They are run during our second Sunday service (at 11:15am): a short way into the service, the youth will be invited to make their way to their meeting.  All of our leaders are appointed by interview, receive safeguarding training and have DBS (formerly known as CRB) clearance.

Once a year, we invite our young people (8-15) to join us for a weekend of activities and teaching.  We also encourage our older young people (16+) to help as "service crew" for the weekend. Spree is organised by Urban Saints at the Frontier Centre, Northamptonshire. It's an opportunity for lots of youth groups to take advantage of great teaching and great facilities which provide for canoeing, archery, climbing, walking and the dreaded king swing.  More information on Spree is available on the Urban Saints website.

We run several youth groups for different age groups:
