Overseas Ministry

Chelmsford Community Church has consistently supported overseas mission over many years.  We faithfully give a proportion of the money, received by the church, into supporting different overseas work.  We have particularly close links with the Covenant Blessings Church in India, but have also supported work in Ukraine, Tanzania, the Philippines, South Africa, Kosovo and most recently in Hungary. 

We have sent teams out to Kosovo and Hungary, under the guidance of Smile International, to work with children and bring practical assistance.  The church, having sponsored a child in Zimbabwe through Smile International for many years, now has a number of Ethiopian children sponsored though Compassion UK, as a church and as individuals in the congregation.

Across the church, we have many members, who have taken an active role in overseas mission, Church member Steve and his wife Kathe, who passed away, had a particular heart for overseas mission and have inspired our church overseas mission work.
